What ideas do others have about comprehensive planning for Miami's waterfront? Architect Bernard Zyscovich has ideas he presented to the Downtown Development Authority which are startlingly original. He takes both museums out of the park and places them elsewhere on the downtown waterfront. Worth a look. Yet where is the plan? Why is it under wraps? Also developer Guillermo Saccasas has an amazing (if not overly amazing) plan to place the stadium and the museums on Watson Island, remove parrott Jungle, and build a 2,700 foot high building compex there. The point is that we need fresh ideas and more forums in which to get them out to planners, politicians and the public.
